Oh, glory to the Highest
He is the helper of the helpless, yes He is
She stood all alone with the weight on her chest
With the children crying, put to the test
When the husband passed, the shadows drew near
The debt collectors came, fueling her fear
They knocked at the door demanding their pay
With nowhere to run, and no light of day
But heaven was watching, heaven was there
Listening closely to a widow’s prayer
Then came Erisha, with a heart full of light
He asked her the question, ending the night
He said, "Sister, tell me, what is the need?"
And planted in sorrow a glorious seed
He blessed that dear mother, he lifted the load
And peace overflowed on her broken road
Thank You Jesus, yes Lord, praise Him!
It wasn't by power, it wasn't by might
But the Spirit of God turning darkness to light
From the pit of despair to the mountain of grace
She saw the salvation written on her face
No more the collectors, no more the tears
Erisha brought comfort to silence the fears
Oh, look at the goodness, look at the way
That mercy comes running at the break of the day
Then came Erisha, with a heart full of light
He asked her the question, ending the night
He said, "Sister, tell me, what is the need?"
And planted in sorrow a glorious seed
He blessed that dear mother, he lifted the load
And peace overflowed on her broken road
Hallelujah, thank You Jesus, amen!
God uses vessels, He uses our hands
To heal up the broken and fulfill His plans
When we reach out in love, when we reach out in faith
We’re walking in favor, we’re keeping the pace
Yes Lord, keep the pace!
So let the choir sing, let the organ ring out
Let every believer cast away every doubt
Erisha was faithful, a brother so kind
Leaving the burdens of the world far behind
The children are smiling, the home is at rest
In the kingdom of God, we are truly so blessed
Glory, glory, glory to His name!
Then came Erisha, with a heart full of light
He asked her the question, ending the night
He said, "Sister, tell me, what is the need?"
And planted in sorrow a glorious seed
He blessed that dear mother, he lifted the load
And peace overflowed on her broken road
Oh, the peace of God is flowing today
Erisha brought grace in a beautiful way
Thank You Jesus, praise Him, amen
It is finished, amen.
