(Praise Him!)
Oh, lift your voice and give Him glory!
It’s a brand new day, a celebration of mercy.
Another year of grace, another year of light
God has kept you, Toyin, through the darkest night
From the rising of the sun to the evening rain
His mercy washed away every doubt and pain
He walked beside you through the changing seasons
Giving you hope beyond all human reasons
We gather round to testify of His love today
As we watch you walk in your own special way
Oh, Toyin, lift your hands and praise the Lord
For His mercy is a promise and a shield and sword
He kept you safe, He kept you strong and true
All of heaven is rejoicing over you
Yes, Toyin, the birthday bells are ringing clear
God’s goodness has been evident throughout the year
Hallelujah, we praise Him for your life today
In His presence, we celebrate and pray
Captain Segun stands beside you, hand in hand
A partner in the grace that you understand
Together in the house that the Lord has built
Free from every worry, free from every guilt
He honors your journey, he honors your name
Together you’ve walked through the fire and the flame
But the Lord was the shepherd, the Lord was the guide
With His wonderful blessings right by your side
Oh, Toyin, lift your hands and praise the Lord
For His mercy is a promise and a shield and sword
He kept you safe, He kept you strong and true
All of heaven is rejoicing over you
Yes, Toyin, the birthday bells are ringing clear
God’s goodness has been evident throughout the year
Hallelujah, we praise Him for your life today
In His presence, we celebrate and pray
And your children join the chorus, hear them sing
Ayola, Ayo, and Nelson, see the joy they bring
A legacy of faith, a family of light
Anchored in the truth, shining ever bright
Thank You Jesus for the path that You’ve paved
For the souls that You’ve touched and the lives that You’ve saved
Yes Lord, we honor this family today
And we thank You for the grace in every single way
So blow out the candles, let the light shine through
There’s a beautiful promise waiting just for you
For the years that have passed and the ones yet to come
God’s work in your heart has only just begun
Keep trusting, keep praying, keep walking in grace
There is no one else who can take your place
Toyin, you are favored, you are loved and you are blessed
By the King of all kings, you are truly the best
Oh, Toyin, lift your hands and praise the Lord
For His mercy is a promise and a shield and sword
He kept you safe, He kept you strong and true
All of heaven is rejoicing over you
Yes, Toyin, the birthday bells are ringing clear
God’s goodness has been evident throughout the year
Hallelujah, we praise Him for your life today
In His presence, we celebrate and pray
Amen, we celebrate you Toyin!
Glory to the Highest for another year!
Captain Segun, the children, we all stand in awe
Thank You Jesus, for mercy forevermore
Yes Lord, Hallelujah!
(Amen!)
