(Aweh!)
It’s a celebration today, yeah
Dr. Grace, keep rising, keep shining
Let’s go!
From the Benue valley, you stand so tall
Breaking every barrier, watching the shadows fall
They said the boy child takes the crown alone
But you paved a new path, carved out your own throne
Rising through the whispers, rising through the doubt
You showed them exactly what you’re about
With a heart made of gold and a mind so keen
You’re the brightest star that we’ve ever seen
Happy birthday to you, Dr. Grace Adagba
You’re the pride of the girl, yeah, you’re the superstar
Raising the standard, bringing the light
Everything you touch, you make it shine so bright
Dr. Grace, yebo, keep dreaming high
Like an eagle soaring in the open sky
(Sharp sharp!)
Dr. Martins told me, he’s proud of the way
You change the future every single day
For the girl child waiting, for the dreamers in line
You’re the blueprint, baby, it’s your time to shine
Forget the distractions, stay on the road
You’re carrying the torch, lightening the load
From the classrooms to the world, they hear your name
You’ve set a new record, you’ve changed the game
Happy birthday to you, Dr. Grace Adagba
You’re the pride of the girl, yeah, you’re the superstar
Raising the standard, bringing the light
Everything you touch, you make it shine so bright
Dr. Grace, yebo, keep dreaming high
Like an eagle soaring in the open sky
(Eish!)
Blessings on blessings, they flow to your door
God guide your steps, keep wanting more
Don't look back, just look to the sun
Your race is winning, you’ve already won
(Aweh! Let’s go!)
So let the log drums beat for your grace today
Let the piano rhythm wash the stress away
Benue is proud, the nation is proud
Stand on the mountain, shout it out loud
Dr. Grace, you’re a force, you’re a queen
You’re the best leader that we’ve ever seen
Stay encouraged, stay true, stay free
You’re everything a leader is supposed to be
Happy birthday to you, Dr. Grace Adagba
You’re the pride of the girl, yeah, you’re the superstar
Raising the standard, bringing the light
Everything you touch, you make it shine so bright
Dr. Grace, yebo, keep dreaming high
Like an eagle soaring in the open sky
Dr. Grace Adagba, shine on
The world is yours
Keep rising, keep shining
Happy birthday, Doc
(Sho! Asambe!)
(Yebo!)
