(Gentle acoustic guitar strums)
Yeah
Uncle T in the building
This one goes out to you, Abel and Abigail Tonga
Listen now
Dear Abel Tonga, my son, my pride
I see the man you're becoming inside
From a teenager to a man so tall
You stand so firm, you refuse to fall
Twelve years of school, the road was long
But through the struggle, you stayed so strong
Many have fallen along the way
But you're still here, ready for the day
God, please keep my kids safe
Protect them with Your divine grace
Give them wisdom that comes from You alone
Keep them safe, let Your love be shown
Guide them as they write, Lord, hear my plea
I place them in Your care, for all to see
And Abigail, you’re wise and bright
As beautiful as a morning light
Eager to learn, with a heart so gold
Your future story is waiting to be told
As you sit for these exams, my dear
May the Lord take away every shadow of fear
May He give you knowledge beyond what we know
To help your brilliant spirit grow
May the Lord bless the works of your hands
In every corner of these lands
I wish you blessings in all that you do
My prayers are rising up for you
Abel, keep pushing, don't you tire
Abigail, keep climbing, reach even higher
The world is waiting for the gifts you bring
So let your hearts in triumph sing
No weapon formed shall ever stand
Against the future you have in hand
God, please keep my kids safe
Protect them with Your divine grace
Give them wisdom that comes from You alone
Keep them safe, let Your love be shown
Guide them as they write, Lord, hear my plea
I place them in Your care, for all to see
I place you under His wings
For all the joy that the future brings
Stay blessed, Abel, stay blessed, Abigail
In His love, you will never fail
(Amen, amen)
(Yeah, for you two)
