A Sacrifice of Love
Upon a quiet, distant hill,
Apart from walls of men,
The Lord of Life surrendered all
To cleanse the world of sin.

Though we can never fully grasp
The measure of His pain,
We trust the grace He poured for us
That we might live again.
Verse 3
Since none but He could bridge the gap,
Or break the chains of night,
He opened wide the heavenly gates
And led us into light.
Verse 4
With hearts reclaimed by love divine,
We vow to follow true,
To trust the sacrifice He made,
And all His works pursue.
