[male vocals] Ohhhhh...
Jesus...
My
Lord...
My
Saviour...
The
night
was
quiet...
The
world
was
waiting...
And
heaven...
sent...
a
gift...
[VERSE 1 - Whisper to power] Long
before
the
manger,
Long
before
that
holy
night,
God
had
promised
us
a
Saviour,
An
everlasting
Light.
Isaiah
saw
Him
coming,
A
Child
would
be
born!
A
Son
given
unto
us,
To
a
world
so
torn
and
forlorn.
For
unto
us
a
Child
is
born!
Unto
us
a
Son
is
given!
Wonderful!
Counsellor!
Prince
of
Peace
from
heaven!
[CHORUS - Choir explosion] JESUS
CHRIST
WAS
BORN!
Oh -
The
Saviour
of
the
world!
Let
every
nation
hear
it!
Let
every
heart
receive
Him!
JESUS
CHRIST
WAS
BORN!
The
King
of
kings
has
come!
From
LAGOS
to
LONDON!
From
NEW
YORK
to
ASIA!
Let
the
whole
world
know...
HE
IS
BORN!
He
is...
Heaven's
Gift!
Huuuuuuummmmmmmm…
[VERSE 2 - Mary's tears] Mary...
chosen...
to
carry
God's
own
Son...
No
room!
No
room!
No
place
for
them
to
stay!
And
in
a
lowly
manger...
Jesus
was
born
that
day!
No
gold!
No
palace!
No
earthly
throne!
Just
swaddling
clothes...
In
love...
alone...
But
heaven
knew!
The
angels
filled
the
air!
[VERSE 3 - The Shepherds] Out
in
the
field
that
night...
Shepherds...
watching...
Suddenly...
light!
FEAR
NOT!
I
bring
you
good
tidings!
Great
joy...
for
all
people!
For
unto
you...
is
born...
THIS
DAY...
In
the
city
of
David...
A
SAVIOUR...
CHRIST
THE
LORD!
GLORY!
GLORY!
TO
GOD
IN
THE
HIGHEST!
AND
ON
EARTH...
PEACE!
GOODWILL
TO
ALL
MEN!
[BRIDGE - Very soft, crying voice, this will make people cry] Oh
Jesus...
You
did
not
come
to
condemn
us...
You
came
to
SAVE
us...
You
came
for
the
broken...
You
came
for
the
lonely...
You
came
for
the
mother
with
no
food...
For
the
child
with
no
present...
The
greatest
gift...
is
not
gold...
Not
money...
not
what
we
own...
The
greatest
gift...
is
YOU,
JESUS!
God...
so...
loved...
the
world...
[VERSE 4 - What will you give Him?] Some
are
buying
clothes...
Some
decorating
trees...
But
some
are
crying
lonely...
Down
on
their
knees...
What
will
YOU
give
Jesus...
This
Christmas...
my
friend?
Will
you
give
Him
your
heart?
Will
you
help
the
poor?
Will
you
forgive
your
brother?
Will
you
open...
your
door?
[FINAL CHORUS - WORLD ANTHEM] JESUS
CHRIST
WAS
BORN!
THE
SAVIOUR
OF
THE
WORLD!
Let
AFRICA
sing!
Let
EUROPE
worship!
Let
AMERICA
shout!
Let
ASIA
bow
down!
From
the
villages!
To
the
mighty
cities!
From
the
mountains!
To
the
seas!
JESUS!
JESUS!
HEAVEN'S
GIFT
TO
THE
WORLD!
He
is
the
King!
He
is
the
Lord!
He
is
the
Saviour!
And
He
will
come...
AGAIN!
Oh
Jesus...
Remember
the
brokenhearted,
Comfort
those
who
weep...
Bring
hope
to
the
hopeless,
Bring
peace
to
the
nations...
When
You
come
again,
Lord...
May
You
find
us...
faithful...
Jesus...
Heaven's
Gift...
Born
for
the
world...
Merry
Christmas
to
the
whole
world...
