(Oh, hallelujah)
He picked up the pieces, yes He did
When all my days were dark with care
And hope seemed lost in deep despair
My Jesus heard my broken cry
And drew me close when none stood by
Yes Lord, when the shadows fell so long
He was the melody within my song
Praise Him, He never let me go
My spirit learns the grace I know
Jesus restored my life, He made it new
His mercy is faithful, His love is true
He took the brokenness and turned it to gold
A story of glory that must be told
Oh, Jesus restored my life, I'm standing tall
He caught me every time I started to fall
Thank You Jesus, for the victory
Jesus restored my life and set me free
When friends and family turned away
And none would hear the words I’d say
He welcomed me with arms of grace
And gave my weary heart a place
Glory, He didn't look at my past mistakes
He mended the spirit that the sorrow breaks
He’s a healer, a provider, a friend so near
He whispers peace and silences my fear
Jesus restored my life, He made it new
His mercy is faithful, His love is true
He took the brokenness and turned it to gold
A story of glory that must be told
Oh, Jesus restored my life, I'm standing tall
He caught me every time I started to fall
Thank You Jesus, for the victory
Jesus restored my life and set me free
He took the pieces of my heart
And healed each wound, each broken part
Where sorrow dwelt, His peace now stays
My lips shall sing the Saviour’s praise
(Yes Lord, sing it out)
He’s the architect of a brand new soul
He’s the only one who can make me whole
Amen, let the anthem rise
I see His goodness with my own eyes
With Jesus, light returned to me
His love has set my spirit free
Through days of joy and nights of pain
My faithful Lord shall still remain
I’m walking forward, the path is bright
I’m stepping out of the dark into the light
Praise Him for the wonder, praise Him for the way
I’m living in the sunshine of His grace today
Jesus restored my life, He made it new
His mercy is faithful, His love is true
He took the brokenness and turned it to gold
A story of glory that must be told
Oh, Jesus restored my life, I'm standing tall
He caught me every time I started to fall
Thank You Jesus, for the victory
Jesus restored my life and set me free
Jesus restored my life
(Hallelujah, glory to the King)
He made me whole again
(Thank You Jesus, amen)
My Saviour, my restorer, my light
Jesus restored my life.
