(Upbeat jangly guitar riff, steady rhythmic hand drums)
Oh yes, oh yes, we celebrate today
Twelve years of journeying, twelve years of grace
A Journey to the Cross, we lift our voices high
Let the music play, let the spirit rise
It started with a vision, a small light in the dark
Twelve years ago today, we gathered round the spark
A Journey to the Cross, where every heart can mend
We walk this narrow road, together to the end
From the city streets to the corners of the land
We feel the strength of God, the leading of His hand
Through the trials and the joy, we stood upon the truth
Building up the kingdom, for the elders and the youth
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
A Journey to the Cross, World Ministries we stand
Guided by the Father, across this blessed land
Oh, sing it loud, let the rhythm carry on
Twelve years of walking from the dusk until the dawn
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
We’ve seen the heavy burdens lifted off the soul
We’ve seen the broken spirits being made to whole
A Journey to the Cross, it’s more than just a name
It’s a testimony burning with a holy flame
Every Sunday morning, the fellowship is sweet
We dance before the Lord, with music at our feet
No matter what the challenge, we never walk alone
Because the seeds of faith were in the garden sown
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
A Journey to the Cross, World Ministries we stand
Guided by the Father, across this blessed land
Oh, sing it loud, let the rhythm carry on
Twelve years of walking from the dusk until the dawn
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
Step by step, we are moving forward now
With a grateful heart and a humble, bended brow
Twelve years has passed, but the work has just begun
Underneath the light of the everlasting Son
Keep the rhythm steady, keep the spirit strong
We praise Him for the journey, with a brand new song
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
A Journey to the Cross, World Ministries we stand
Guided by the Father, across this blessed land
Oh, sing it loud, let the rhythm carry on
Twelve years of walking from the dusk until the dawn
Twelve years of glory, twelve years of grace
In this house of worship, in this holy place
Twelve years of grace, we thank You Lord
Twelve years of love, we sing in one accord
A Journey to the Cross, forever we will be
Walking in the light, for all the world to see
(Fade out with jangly guitar and rhythmic clapping)
